Sattar Khan and Baqir Khan were two brave
leaders
of Iranian nation in the time of Mohammad-Ali Shah-e
Ghajar. Mohammad-Ali Shah was severely opposed to
the establishment of liberty and constitution in the
country, therefore cannonaded the National Consultative
Assembly, and pressed on the constitutionalists and
imprisoned some of them.
Following this action, Sattar Khan and Baqir
Khan led the
people of Tabriz.
Raising of people from one side and
surrounding of Tabriz
City by the Shahs army on the other hand increased the
conflict. But the resistance of people made the army retreat
and after their defeat, the constitutionalists controlled Tehran
and the representatives of people began their own activities
again.
